State & Local Laws / Obligations

The continued upkeep of detention pond structures, slopes, sediment storage capacities, drainage easements, and related areas is the Responsibility of the Homeowners Associations, business owners, developers, and property owners, whichever is applicable as referenced in the County Ordinance.

Federal, state, and local regulations require that all stormwater best management practices (BMPs) be maintained in proper working order to protect public safety and water resources.
